Continuous School Improvement Process [ConSIP]

                         What is ConSIP?

Continuous School Improvement Process is a programme designed to make schools better places for learning. This relies on changes at both school level and within classrooms, which in turn depend on schools being committed to fulfilling the expectations of children and their parents. In other words, ConSIP refers to a systematic approach that improves the quality of schools.

The aims of the programme are:
-      To ensure support to every aspect of a school essential in creating the best learning environment for children.
-      To promote the active participation of children and communities in school governance.
-      To get the management teams of schools acquainted with global trends in teaching and learning.
-      To promote positive collaboration and healthy rivalry among schools.

ConSIP aims to support schools in addressing the following key areas:
-      Ensuring teachers are competent and motivated.
-      Promoting active learning supported by appropriate teaching and learning aids.
-      Establishing a relevant curriculum.
-      Ensuring empowered and supportive school leaders.

Each of these areas is equally important. If any one is weak, the strength and therefore the success of the whole will be affected. We call it a continuous programme because it has to work in a continuous cycle of Planning – Implementation – Evaluation.

Sign up your school for ConSIP today and you will be glad you did.
